Sewing a Pinafore Dress (for my birthday!)

Special occasions call for special outfits, and what’s better than a DIY dress?! 🙂 My birthday is the perfect excuse to try a vintage pattern for a pinafore dress from the 1940s! My fabric came a story! My mom made these tablecloths when I was kid, and we used them at our backyard birthday parties! 🙂 SO many good birthday memories! Since my mom doesn’t need the tablecloths anymore, she asked me if I wanted to use the fabric! Um, yes please! 🙂 This cute cotton seersucker fabric is the PERFECT fabric for my birthday dress (and there’s just enough of it!)
